Wait, STB’s her best friend, who she asked to officiate her wedding, but they hadn’t met her fiance until after they were engaged? Unless they live far apart, that seems sketchily fast- saying that people are concerned she’s moving too fast might not be ill-received, especially if they can think of a tactful way to

Exactly. And you have to wonder if Roseanna feared not only the repercussions against her, but if he would lash out against her entire family.

not to mention Rosanna Arquette, who’s entire family is in the industry

“In September 2009, Weinstein publicly voiced opposition to efforts to extradite Roman Polanski from Switzerland to the U.S. regarding a 1977 charge that he had drugged and raped a 13-year-old, to which Polanski had pleaded guilty before fleeing the country.[22] Weinstein, whose company had distributed a film about

Paltrow & Jolie are from Hollywood families. If Blythe Danner’s daughter and John Voight’s daughter didn’t feel comfortable speaking up for fear of repercussions, what does that tell you about the level of power Harvey Weinstein had over the entertainment industry? I hope this illustrates for people how deep this

What a disgusting fucking pig.

When you lie with dogs you get fleas. It’s nobody fault but her own that she’s gotten this much hate. You can’t expect to be able go from having a very public career as an advocate for victims of rape and sexual harassment to repping one of Hollywood’s more prolific predators without having people comment on it.
