The point here is not even the car, just the wastefulness of it all. We live in a world where people are failing to cover basic expenses, and here’s this guy destroying an expensive car with an even more expensive amount of duct tape for 12 seconds of video content.

That is not my favourite Bond movie (that would be “From Russia with Love”), but it is on the top three for sure.

IIRC technology marched on, and the hybrid system was too complex and expensive to rebuild to justify the gains that could be had for less in other ways.

Totally off topic, but just now I realized that the grille of this car looks like a mustache, and a) can’t unsee and b) this makes any car 100% better!
