Exactly. Ducktales, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, and Justice League Unlimited were for kids. But they were still well done enough that anyone could enjoy them.

In the comics he’s been set on fire and while it was uncomfortable, he shrugged it off. The downside to his powers is that, while his insides are tougher than normal, they’re not as tough as his skin, so he can sustain internal injuries that can’t be easily treated because of how tough his skin is.

I think the idea is they’ve isolated a part of the human brain that governs psychic powers in marvel history. people have had it removed in older stories to rob them of their powers. I assume he did some sort of transplant. They’ve certainly done crazier operations in comics.

It was a fun idea to give Red Skull the power to control minds. Kind of the ultimate literal version of what Hitler’s propaganda machine did. But you’re right it should have ended with Axis.
