Here is some fuel for the fire, ironically inspired by Clarkson, May and Hammond.

Since its related to the "Charger" and 300, can the "Challenger" actually be called a pony car? I hope they fix that when they re-do it. Then they can work on the other misnomers.

This is getting very close to a question burnong on my mind for some time now... what are the best RWD & Manual cars with good highway mileage rhat arent too expensive? I have a short list but I need fresh perspectives and to pick other brains...

D'oh! I'll be in training. Somebody pound a cold one for me. Standby for eventual postcard from the 'Stan.

Best infotainment system? My phone, because i already know it

here is a list of 9 paint names that were allegedly rejected by Chrysler executives:

Mopar has always had amusing history when it comes to color names. Recall the old High Impact Paint colors on the classic muscle cars, like Plum Crazy Purple. Some of the rejected color names back then were "Catch Me Copper" and "Statutory Grape" and it is in this spirit that I nominate "Blue My Wad." Considered

Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I believe the pic is of a F5R car but excellent photography none the less. I'll put up another pic for the others.

The Stinger 609. Featured in C&D a while back.

Shelby Daytona Coupe, just about any '69 Trans Am car, a mid '00's Subaru WRC car.

Shelby Daytona Coupe, then a Subaru WRC car, a '69 Trans Am car, or the Formula Ford that got lights put on it.

Great piece. definitely keeping this.

Here's another bit of truth about this line. "domestics suck!" said the late 80's toyota driver...lol

I second this as well. Even in trucks they have vastly improved, I worked on a ranch in '06 that had an evolutionary chart of Dodge Cummins trucks, one from the 80's, the mid 90's and then a brand new '06 which was nearly silent compared even to the 90's truck.

I second this, and add the "unreliable" caveat. Comically, I heard that one from a friend back in high school who once said "what? you have the CHANGE the oil?!"

Firestone also will not let you supply parts. I got hosed on replacing a fuel pump in my '02 Silverado.
