Last night I got sucked into watching the HBO documentary “The Words That Built America.” Basically the Declaration of Independence and Constitution (and Bill of Rights) being read out loud - the Declaration by various celebrities and the Constitution by members of the particular branches being described. Live and Let Die is one of my favorite Bond flicks, probably because it was always on TV when I was a kid in the late 70s/early 80s. Baron Samedi was the best (RIP Geoffrey Holder).

I was in Nashville on business in 2003 or so and was thrown a seat for a game. I was sitting next to a kid - maybe 13 or so - who kept yelling “Hit ‘im with a stick! Hit ‘im with a stick!” in an appropriately heavy Tennessee drawl whenever things got chippy on the ice. I’m glad things have progressed from the NASCAR
