What galls me is that the Dixie Chicks were burned at the stake for saying that they are ashamed that GWB is from Texas, but Ted Nugent and others are calling for Obama and Hillary to be literally killed and that’s totally fine with the Dixie Chicks haters.

I’ll never forget watching the Dixie Chicks burned at the stake in 2003, in the lead-up to the Iraq War. They were one of my favorite country groups– I loved their vision of American freedom. It was horrible seeing all that creativity trampled under the boot of jingoism.

That’s possible. I was bullied a lot as a kid. A quick perusal of Facebook indicates that, like me, friends who were really bullied tend to not have any kids, while every single person who bullied me does. One of them has 6 kids.

The bullying element has grown SO much now that kids have technology at their fingertips 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Used to you could go home and be safe from hate, but not anymore. Bullying (combined with mental health issues) is what landed my daughter in a psychiatric hospital last month with suicidal thoughts.…

Thanks for the clip. It does sound odd, but I wouldn’t make too much of it. Lindsay’s been living in a number of different countries for a while now. Kinda sounds like she’s picked up a little something from all of them at once.
