Rape revenge is a subgenre I actively avoid due to a) the rape and b) creepy directors who want you to get off on the rape, but I’m super glad I checked out Revenge. It’s smart and the violence is legit gnarly.

It’s because the far superior adaptation, “Point Blank”, is already on the list, Duh.

Deserved a nomination at least. Awards for art are stupid anyways. There is no ‘best’.

This is going to make a certain set of ‘Rick and Morty’ fans insufferable. Well, more insufferable. Well, probably the same level of insufferable but in a different way.

There’s a fun dynamic where Macfadyen’s accent will occasionally slip, but it oddly works for the character, since Tom is kind of like an artificial intelligence that’s pretending to be a human male with about a 90-95 percent success rate. 

I want a spinoff where Tom and Greg solve crimes...badly. Or do anything together really. 

It is impressive they caught this guy, considering all they had was a photograph.
