Huh. I thought Aquaman, Shazam!, Birds of Prey, WW84, The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker all had plenty of humor and joy.

I found The Snyder Cut to be a far better film than the theatrical release. I'm not a huge Snyder fan, but his version was far superior to what was initially released. Even with all of the weird endings.
