Gary Numan is two weeks older than Gary Oldman. They’ve been lying to us all our lives.

It’s funny, I think Eric Idle was self-described as “The Sixth Nicest Python” and indeed had a rep as being quite unpleasant. Ultimately, though, he’s kept himself more in the loop, appearing in science programmes like The Infinite Monkey Cage, his humanism work etc. and I think his reputation has improved and

Not only did Cy Grant appear on screen (and on stage as Othello), he was also the voice of Lieutenant Green in Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons, which is pretty cool.

And plenty of yellow-face. Most of it was satirising racism of course but some of it is dodgy as all hell.

British politics has never mapped well onto US politics, even before the Republicans lurched to the far right I suspect that the Tories were closer to the Democrats than the GOP on a lot of issues.

Of course Michael Palin is the best, he’s a Sheffield boy.

Seems like he wants to make enough Poirot films...to fill the Nile!

Successfully repelling invasions for nearly 1,000 years, I think we’d be fine.

Warrior doesn’t yet have a season 3, that was delayed because Cinemax gave up on original programming but fortunately HBO Max picked it up.

Cineworld is my cinema of choice for the more blockbuster-y stuff, they say their trailers are specially chosen but then clarify that they mean that they’re just certificate-appropriate.

I'm the opposite, I've seen lots of trailers for Smile recently but I'd never have heard of Bros if not for this site. That said, I'm in the UK and I'm not sure if Bros is getting a cinema release here.

And he played Steve Fox in that Tekken film, I don’t think any of us have forgotten that.

I love some good mayhem in films, I think mother! and Climax from recent years have good examples of what you’re talking about.

*Whole village cheers*

Rollo Tomassi the fictional (fictional) unknown criminal or Rollo Tomassi the Sheffield based progressive Mathcore band?

Who's Jack Elam?

Take a drink every time Simon Pegg calls her “Lassie”. You will not survive.

What this cool man guy said, all of it.

Paul Walter Hauser, he’s great. I even saw him in a 10 second role in Community recently (I think the episode where Abed becomes a megalomaniacal director).

Well it depends what you mean by sex symbol I suppose - I’m not saying she’s unattractive, far from it, but I would have seen her as more of an actor who can play that role as required rather than say someone like Rita Hayworth.
