I cross shopped the TC with a Sienna, but the Sienna won out. The Ford 6f35 tranny is garbage and a common complaint is the engine is anemic (this bothered the wife). The looks and the smaller footprint would be perfect for a small family.

No, you cant. In order to load those you need a trailer. That trailer’s weight will eat into your tow capacity. You may get 1 of those tractors. Maybe 2 at the very max

If you replace every single interior piece, it’ll look brand new!

This is my thought exactly. I could tow my trailer empty, but cant put anything in it.

Agreed. As soon as I have kids, I’ll sell the 2 door jeep and get something that can easily fit everything.

Dear Derek, look at this sweet 560SL

I know you’re being sarcastic, but I’m A-OK with the police having armored vehicles to roll around in. As a former Dallas resident, the place is a goddamn cesspool, and it could use some shock and awe.

$30,000 USD?

The seats...uncomfortable as hell. The cushioning in the second and third rows is paper thin and I like the Connect for being different, quirky and practical but damn, your butt will be sore after sitting in back for any extended period of time. These things are what they are, practical light cargo haulers converted

Yeah, thats a problem. Heck, my utility trailer weighs 1200lbs empty.... By the time i put my garden tractor on it, a load of mulch, or some lumber and i’d be over the towing capacity. Needs to be 4000lbs towing capacity for me to comfortably be able to consider it an option.

The article compares them ...

THIS. We actually looked at the Transit Connect LWB FIRST before checking out the Odyssey. What we gained in the mid-trim Odie (EX-L) vs the top-trim (Titanium) Connect for somewhat short $ kind of made it a no brainer - despite me really wanted something “different.” Being different wasn’t enough. I’ll admit, we also

I had a stretch at my old job where I had to rent minivans to haul larger items every few weeks. I got a Caravan most of the time, but once they dropped off this:

Transit connect has nothing to do with the explorer/taurus.

Same thing I said. It’s a reluctant NP, but a valid one, IMO

Sit in the middle row seats first. They are definitely funky.

I love SoCal, but no way am I living there.

And you don’t have to periodically clean out the rat traps in an index fund’s engine bay.

You can barely swing a dead hooker around here lately without hitting someone who believes she’s sleeping.

Except most normal people wouldn’t be annoyed by a waitress trying to make them laugh with corny jokes.

Then there’s a crabby sourpuss like you
