I don’t have kids and I’m well past the all night partying phase of my life. It doesn’t happen. Let me assure you that child free doesn’t mean care free. I have plenty of responsibilities, just none of them revolve around kids. I don’t mean any of this defensively, I just want to let you know the other side of things

Don’t forget tanning.

I worked in a library while I was in school and so many patrons thought everyone who worked there was a librarian. I was insulted on behalf of the librarians.

Jeez! In some ways I think it’s harder being a vet than a people doc. You have to treat a patient that can’t articulate, and may actively be hiding, symptoms, you’re getting history through a third party (the owner) who may or may not be a “poor historian”. And you just learned everything on the job? Wow.

Are you kidding? Veterinarians go to school longer than people doctors, don’t they?

Gwen loves other cats to the point of overwhelming them. Sometimes I tell her to take it down a notch but she just can’t. She’s not as in to people, but that’s OK.

I’m buying a house soon (within the next year) and I hope to have a room solely dedicated to foster cats. I have 5 of my own so it’s best not to mingle until they get vetted. Plus my cat Gwen would fall in love with every single one and would insist we adopt them.

If your fear of rejection is causing you to miss out on things that could broaden your life then it might me time to talk to a counselor or therapist of some sort. It doesn’t have to be that way and you deserve a better life than that.

Some graffiti I found in a club’s bathroom this week seems to indicate he’s preferable to God, too.

Cobie Smulders is a very lucky woman (apart from the getting cancer part) because ovarian cancer is super hard to detect and usually isn’t found until it has metastasized which is why it has such a piss poor survival rate. Add to the fact she was so young when she had it that doctor’s were probably not even about to

Hey, at least this one made it to 14 unlike the puppies her staff said she would lock in a closet and forget about until they died of dehydration/starvation.

Bill Paxton had some good perspective on it, too.

How is that simultaneously tacky AND boring?

Glad I could help a tiny amount. Hang in there! I’m sure you’re going to do a great job!

Yeah. Unfollowing and hiding are awesome. I will only unfriend someone if they are racist or homophobic. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs but I have to draw the line at out and out hatefulness. Actually, the last racist I had to deal with unfriended me after I pointed out the hypocrisy of his Jesus is awesome

Yeah. I’ve unfollowed a couple of conservatives on my friend’s list. One conspiracy theorist as well, although I’ll look at his page when I need a laugh. I’m sure some of them have unfollowed me for my political views. I’m sure other people have unfollowed me for my endless cat pictures. Everybody’s happy!

Me. I’m not into babies. But when my friends start posting endless pictures of their kids I just scroll on past instead of writing mean letters.

I’m glad you did!

Apparently enough people disagree with you that is’ going to trial. Not sure why you’re so bent on defending him but you can continue to do so without my input.
