Where are you getting that I’m “really upset”? I explained the logic behind another poster’s statement that I agreed with. We were having a straight-forward conversation about the problems with blanket statements and assumptions about mental illness that don’t actually hold true, so if you think I’m “really upset”

My diagnosis? It was PTSD from being sexually assaulted as a child.

Sure, here is all the guidance you need:

C’mon, your post wasn’t limited to an expression of concern for another person’s mental health, it went beyond that by assuming she isn’t getting help now if this is happening and asserting that getting help, if one works hard enough, “works.” No one is criticizing you for the “Jeez, I hope she’s okay” part of your

When did I get “bent out of joint?” Pretty sure all I’ve done is explain why I agree with the criticism of the other poster and explain why it’s irrelevant to me if the poster meant well.

I had a very similar experience. Had PTSD issues that were misdiagnosed as bipolar disorder, spent ages on a bunch of pills that made me a zombie (and made me gain tons of weight), kept hurting myself, crises, etc.

When a commenter could think about it for five seconds and avoid phrasing their comment in a way that makes mentally ill people feel shitty about themselves, they aren’t immune from criticism just because they meant well.

Uhh saying she should seek professional help suggests that these things only happen with people who aren’t getting help. That’s pretty condescending to the tons of people who have attempted suicide/run off/had episodes/disassociated/etc. while getting help/treatment. And the “it works” is also condescending because

Are you going to correct the Beyoncé speculation given her 1996 freshman year yearbook, which puts her age at 34?

It is true, though. She may remember it as a favor and she’s probably biased in her own favor, since for a lawyer trying to get out of it looks kinda bad since it’s a poor defendant.

No, you took issue with her accepting the case too. You literally claimed in the comment above this that she wasn’t assigned to the case, a point that would be irrelevant if you admired her for taking on the case.

Just an FYI some of us would admire her more if she didn’t try to get out of taking the case. You may not admire people who provide legal services to poor people, but some of us very much admire that.

What of it?

I don’t either. Daily Mail has posted pictures from her freshman year yearbook, which they say is a 1996 yearbook. The math works out to her being 34. Also Destiny Child’s first album was in 1998 and she supposedly dropped out of high school because of their success, which also works out to her being 34.

She may have been initially asked by the prosecutor, but the prosecutor has said since that she was very clear that she didn’t want to take the case but she couldn’t get out of it since the judge wanted her on it.

Works for me!

And he adopted two of her other children, so they technically had three children together. His adoptions of Dylan and Moses were finalized the same month that he began his relationship with their sister. CLASS ACT.

I guessed wrong the first time but got it on the second try (based mostly on his hideous shirt and pale complexion but also a little bit of creepiness in his eyes). You probably won’t be surprised to hear that Gladiator is one of his favorite movies. Also he’s into carb cycling, whatever that is.

But most of them wouldn’t accept the possibility of competing for a woman because they feel they should already been entitled to women without having to do anything.
