No, I never pegged that on the continuum of awful things that were said in 2016, and I have never defended the awful things Trump said. My point is that we on the left have to take a look at ourselves as well as our neighbors.

That sounds like a good plan. Keep doing what you’re doing because you like it, and it suits you, and maybe add a little extra to pay it forward. I’m figuring out ways to do that as well. We all need to pitch in to help each other out, even if we don’t individually move mountains.

Actually, he scrubbed the Muslim ban from his website minutes after getting elected. So this would be the second broken promise. Wait until his supporters find out they aren’t going to be rich like he promised. I hope Dems are keeping a tally of the broken promises.

I know you’re not all so awful because I interact every day with wonderful Americans who believe passionately in a dream of equality and freedom for everyone.  I still believe those people won’t let this stop them, they’ll keep fighting until that dream is realised.
