I’ve heard in a few places that the original draft of Winter Soldier had Alexander Pierce revealed as the Red Skull at the end - I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him come back, maybe if they ever make a Captain America 4, hopefully with robot-body Arnim Zola in tow.

I had someone tell me when I predicted this film wouldn’t crack much more than $500 million worldwide that they trusted what I said because I’m usually right about these things.

I thought him intentionally dooming her to be with him was a pretty significant aspect of the original story. I hope it’s still in there and they’re just using misdirection to maintain the twist.

Oh FFS. Whenever I see anyone talk about how something will become a huge cultural touchstone, I cringe inwardly. Also outwardly. I may froth at the mouth slightly. Wait, I might be having a stroke.

And Shazam might not even be happening, there has been no buzz around that at all recently.

Could this fucking movie just come out already. This is just absolutely excruciating every day with a different dumb ass post from all these websites about this flick. Good grief, I wanted to see it about six months ago and now I’m just fatigued.

Bruce Wayne touring around to recruit other heroes WITHOUT HIS FUCKING MASK feels so wrong.

While I obviously think she deserves it, I didn’t think Sophie Turner would be nominated. They always go with the biggest names and Sansa has only just recently been talked about on the same level as Cersei or Dany or Jon Snow.

How does Emilia Clarke keep getting nominated for anything other than Razzies?!?!

At the time it was modest, but to come out about it now is clearly to make it seem like he wasn’t giving her credit at the time (and he’s implying that wasn’t the case)

After careful consideration, and hour long (coughthreesecondscough) deliberation, I have come to the inevitable conclusion that I’m all:

The multiplication of these various heroic legacies makes business sense as it broadens demographic appeal and seemingly suggests new directions for film adaptations as actors age or opt out of their roles.

I think the Russo brothers have proven they can make a compelling story without a compelling villain. Look at Baron Zemo. Look at the previous movie where the villain was the rather nebulous/diffuse Hydra (not even Hydra as an organization, but Hydra as a concept).

I think pretty much every version of her - animated, pre and post-52, eventually rejects the Joker’s abuse and sets out to oppose him/not define herself by him. I’m assuming that’s the case in the movie too, and when we see them together it’s in flashbacks.

I don’t think Marvel will give them an extension on Fantastic Four for anything. The severe financial hit Fox took on the 2015 film is liable to scare them from making another film unless they have more than seven years, and that’s what Marvel’s counting on.

I would be totally on board with Lyanna Mormont as Warden of the East. But while I know Robin Arryn is a little boy in the books, in the show he seems like a teenager now. Traditionally I suppose 10 or 11 isn’t too young to betroth, but their age difference seems a little wide for HBO to say ‘yep, that’s fine.’

Interesting. I wonder too if it’s possible that Sansa will just come right out and accuse Baelish of murdering Lyssa. But I suppose she’d have to make an ally of Robyn first or Arys (is that his name?) of the Vale.

Lyanna Mormont bossing around Robin Arryn would be amazing. I’m just sad Lyanna is too young to marry Jon himself. She would be an awesome wife. I’m already thinking she should be Jon’s Hand of the King if he ever gets there.

tho i am still processing everything i have two major questions

I’m glad they will be addressing Scott’s fugitive status. But I want to point out that the first Ant-Man was also a team movie:
