Thats a good point about her being a newer name - hopefully she’ll get a shot next year!

I’m surprised that Sophie Turner was shut out, I thought she definitely had a solid performance this season. And with her frequent scene partner Kit Harington nominated, I thought she’d be a shoo-in. Honestly, I’d probably put her ahead of Emilia or Maisie this year - Emilia keeps giving the same performance and

I definitely think Daenerys is being set up as a villain. She has been perfectly established as the chosen one who saves the world - in a normal fantasy series, she would win, but GOT is all about twisting those classic character tropes. I think she either turns full villain, or dies against the White Walkers, never

Yup, I completely agree; plenty of actors in the big comic movies admit they haven’t read the comic books before, but they express an interest and acknowledge the hard-core fans. Pine has been involved in Star Trek for years, so for him to basically shrug it off seems really rude - don’t make Trekkies mad!

Yeah, his comment about the other Chrises was a bit obnoxious - concern-trolling about others’ health always comes across as fake - but the Trek comment looks really bad. Its one thing to say you weren’t a fan before you got the part, but he seems to be implying he doesn’t care that much period because he isn’t a fan.

But would the Vale actually help Littlefinger take Winterfell in the name of the King? My impression was that the Vale got on board with attacking the Boltons in order to protect Sansa. If Littlefinger now turns around and reveals Tommen’s decree that he can be Warden of the North, I would think the Vale would be

I actually don’t think this will help him with Bond. They seem to prefer lower-profile actors (Daniel Craig wasn’t nearly as big when he got the role), and I don’t see them loving the idea of their Bond being in tabloid stories with pop stars. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong and sign him, but everyone already seemed

Absolutely! The turning point for Dany in my eyes was when she told Tyrion she was going to break the wheel of the Great Houses of Westeros, without ever acknowledging that the Targaryens are part of that wheel. I really wanted Tyrion to call her out for that - the fact she lives as a queen while demanding everyone

Seriously, thank you! I get people like the empowerment of it, but Dany’s arrogance surrounding being “Daenerys Stormborn, etc” has gotten her in trouble over and over again, and seeing her smirking in the flames just made me think she is about to get even more out of control.

I find it funny how Marvel never goes to Renner for major roles in the non-Avengers movies. There are 3 Avengers actors without their own film franchises - Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner. But both Johansson and Ruffalo have been tapped for major roles in the stand-alone films - Johansson was
