They are treated as well as the white kids. No, they really are. If you’re offended by a Halloween costume or random graffitti, do not come. Those things are not being orchestrated by the administration and absolutely nothing can be done about them.

I think part of the stunned silence from the faculty and dean is because you really do not know what it’s like to someone else until you are actually them.
