Of course they ruined the front end with the new grill and 5mph bumper, but you’re not kidding about the Italian-inspired good looks. Call me crazy, but I have always seen Ferrari 250 GTE in the Vega’s roofline.

This is car news. It’s also funny.

We’re speaking of Corollas not Civics.

I guess the upside to marginal car news like this is...

It’s almost as if Trump only complains about car jobs leaving the US when they’re going to brown people.

Poor starving masses are really easy to control. Isn’t that right Marie Antoinette?

Political car news is still car news, deal with it. :)

Dude. It’s completely relevant to the future of cars in America. Tell Trump to stop fucking with the auto industry.

First the Ford Focus, then the Chevy Cruze and now the Toyota Corolla - with Trump’s sudden obsession with compact cars, you’d think he was looking to buy one.

I wonder, do you keep track of whom, if any, have actually heeded any of the advice you guys give? Or, if they’ve notified you if they’ve followed anyone’s advice in particular? I’d be interest in knowing what your success rates are.

The short answer is generally no, the Congress must pass legislation and the President must enforce it. He can veto legislation (which a supermajority of the Congress can override), but he cannot pass it himself.

Depends if Trump is going to keep threatening the auto industry every day. So far that seems to be what it’s looking like.

Rand Paul was pretty good on this front.

Even if I didn’t?

“We don’t want THE GOVERNMENT controlling businesses!”

*trump starts telling businesses what to do*

*CROWD HAS AN ORGY*

I’m not in favor of robbing other nations at the point of a gun. Don’t think it will work out well for us.

The reason for this is very obvious: the Civic Type-R is coming to America, and Americans buy automatics (in whatever form) at a 95% rate. To maximize the sales of a new product, offering the automatic is the easiest path to getting there.

I would buy this if it also included an electrically-coupled stick that lets me shift through five hundred different gears like Vin Diesel does.
