There is absolutely no resemblance whatsoever? WTF are you looking at?

Somewhat agreed....but the fact Mazda pretty much copied Alfa’s stylistic cues and made something that was lacking in Alfa’s lineup before today doesn’t make the matter any simpler as well..
Some sort of formula needs to be established for determining what a human life is worth. And it should be super cruel and fucked up so everyone thinks it’s heartless. Like ((Current Annual Income + Net Worth) x 10) = the amount that can be sued for. In this guys case, being that he was riding a scooter and lives in…
You are extremely unlikely to be shot with a rifle outside of a destabilized country or combat zone. FBI crime stats show that under 10% of firearm crime in the US is committed with long guns of any type, shotguns or rifles. The overwhelming majority of firearm homicides are with handguns. Pistol fire would be a…
This is absolutely horrible and good for Mrs. Blaikie, but how in the hell is this the number they arrived at? Seems slightly excessive...
you would. but driving “safe” means you can get a reckless driving (20 over) ticket at any time.
You’ll get killed driving 55 on freeways around Chicago.
And in reality most people drive 65 minimum, and usually upwards of 80. Except during rush hour, in which someone ALWAYS screws it up and the entire freeway slows to a crawl.
What tha hail...... (say it with twang)
Why would that make it legendary?
Yeah, and the fragile gearbox, and the fact that it seems like many of those who got the car “couldn’t drive”, and the car “saved you with electronics. Don’t get me wrong, I respect the R35, but, I would have liked to see them either have done it about the size of the G35/37, or made a super Z, instead of the R35.
Doesn’t Laguna Seca have a fairly strict noise limit? Granted it isn’t much of an issue with legit production vehicles but might be tricky when “production” cars want a go.
Laguna Seca. Salinas, California is the same damn temperature all year round and it rarely rains. That eliminates two big variables which is important when you’re trying to match up hot lap times. No wet laps, no hot laps with reduced power, no cold laps with more power but less grip, etc. Plus you can test all year…
“middling detail”
I get what you’re going for, but c’mon. Nissan built an infallible Gojira that will save your life when you screw up going for a lap record during a thunderstorm. The 911 Turbo will murder you if you sneeze at half throttle on a casual Sunday drive.
I see your point in terms of being a giant slayer at the price point but in terms of size and driving dynamics this is a bit of a stretch, no? The 930 was down about 20 inches on the wheel base, over a foot in length, the weight, AWD vs RWD, etc etc.
The skyline was the gtr of its day, imo.
