As far as I’m concerned, it isn’t Christmas until Nick & Nora Charles serve the nuts.
Here’s an idea. How about a TV series about life for *ordinary people* in the MCU? No superheroes at all on screen - just regular people dealing with the consequences and fallout. Maybe there’s a church talking about sending missionaries to convert the aliens. Schools having to revise their curricula to include all…
In a nice poster version:
“Midnight” is a vastly underappreciated episode....
Gene Hackman’s range is underappreciated. Consider the same actor played “Popeye” Doyle and Lex Luthor.....
Did we honestly expect anything better from the House GOP?
I don’t get the “hate” for it anyway. The ingredients are the same - sauce, cheese, toppings - they’re just assembled differently, and the crust is tweaked to handle the different construction.
And molasses!
Any room here for “Made for TV Movies”? “Don’t be Afraid of the Dark” (1973) deserves a mention. And from the UK, there’s “Ghostwatch” (1992)....
(Checks to see if “Jazz on a Summer’s Day”(1959) is on the list. Finds that it isn’t. Stops reading.)
One can also see it as the fear of suburban conformity...
The guy’s a modestly successful big-league pitcher. He’s no moron. Performing at that level requires a lot of the sort of brain power that doesn’t show up on normal IQ tests. Situational awareness, knowing the opposition, etc.
There should be a place on this list for The Master (Doctor Who).
The best part about the #1 entry is the cracking dialogue:
Any chance we’ll ever see regular, ordinary, VANILLA pop tarts?
Or stories about how people try to deal with all the new things that have happened..... No superheroes needed....
Hmmm..... Where have I seen this before?
I hope it will be televised!
Among baseball stadiums, Citi Field has good vegan / vegetarian options, too.
