It’s nice to see Hawkeye getting some love from Marvel Studios. I freely admit that (after Emma Peel and John Steed, naturally) he’s my favorite Avenger.

Also, The Thin Man - which takes place around the holidays.

Personally, I see Ghostbusters as a “coming of age” movie.

You can apologize for using gendered language when discussing abortions the minute a man can get one. Seems to me that being able to get pregnant and give birth is one of the defining characteristics of a “woman”.

Any thoughts on Gymkata?

And there’s a HECK of a lot of real talent there, on both sides of the camera. For example, James Horner did the music....

Yet another example of how people can change for the better - if you give them the chance and the space to do so.

AND if the Sontarans are so tied to that cycle, haven’t they figured out the concept of working & resting IN SHIFTS? Why have the entire army “go down” at the same time?

Only if it’s the RIGHT booze!

“You better not be matriculating in there!”

I have to wonder how many of these are here simply because we have indelibly associated the name brand with the product. For example, who calls them “adhesive bandages” or “chocolate sandwich cookies” anymore?

That heavenly coffee!

Let Peeps do it themselves:

I’m going to say that his cause of death was actually being 84 years old.

A tip of the hat for including “X Minus One”. I note that the stories were adapted to fit a half-hour time slot, so they’re all about 25 minutes each. Perfect for listening to on a commute....

I’m wondering if anyone has ever done a survey of the clients of sex workers to find out their reasons for doing so. From all the anecdotal evidence I’ve read from sex workers themselves, the reasons are often quite complex.

I am not and have never been on Facebook, Twitter, or any of the other big social media sites.

THIS!!!

It’s actually pronounced “Throat-Warbler Mangrove”.

What if it was set to “Yakkity Sax”?
