I’ve been having a case of nostalgia; and I’m going back and watching the episodes of “Max Headroom” again. Interesting to see how prescient the series was. Three of the first four episodes were about: advertisers jamming ads into as little time as possible to keep people from switching channels, a risky underground…

I give them a lot of slack with the cultural references and “crossover” episodes. At the time of production,there was some hesitation over whether the show would be accepted - both by the fans of the Classic Series and the general public. So they did some cross-promotion stuff with other shows....
