Seven Days in May is still relevant (and Frederic March as Jordan Lyman is a sadly underrated Movie President)

Douglas did a LOT of his own stunts in that movie - including the “Running of the Oars”.

Do you think they’ll give him a Viking Funeral?

You bet your bippy! What a cast! Frederic March! Ava Gardner! Burt Lancaster!

So, by your logic, we are all going to be permanently defined by our worst, and can never do anything that could even begin to atone for our sins. If that’s so, why should we even bother trying to be good?

And the lesson from all this will unfortunately be something like “Don’t even try, because someone is always going to be angry enough to force you to backpedal.”

And for any Republican candidate, no matter the level, you’d be constantly keeping your eye on them because 1) they’d be trying to hit on your 17-year-old niece, 2) condiments and cans of soda would always seem to vanish when they are around, and 3) they’re going to cajole someone into giving away the secret to Aunt

Have someone order from a mobile phone while driving, and deliver it to you at an intersection.....

Now that I’ve spent two minutes thinking on it, it might have been less “club you over the head with it” if The Doctor asked why there was this really high-tech lab in such an out-of-the-way place, and Suki responded with a cover story of “We’re researching ways to use tailored bacteria to deal with microplastics.”

Do we really want to know exactly *who* The Doctor is when it comes to the history of Gallifrey? Do we really want to have all the mystery taken out of the series?

Thank you!

Speaking of losing AirPods - if only there were some sort of tether that would connect your AirPods together, or even to the device with all your music.... That way, they’d be much harder to lose...

I’ve neither read the book or seen the movie. And I doubt I ever will, simply because of all the people telling me I have to because they are so freakin’ amazeballs.

Where can I get a copy?

I WANT THAT GIF!

I’m hoping that they’ll finally figure out what to do with Gallifrey and the Time Lords once and for all.

Chibnall wrote some pretty big checks with this episode.

I find that War Movies fall into two main categories: The “War is Hell” category, and the “War is a great background for drama, be it action (e.g. The Guns of Navarrone) or character studies (e.g. The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp).
