Or for that matter, pizza places with a basement.....
And the more the people with the real power in the House (Neal, Nadler, Cummings, et al.) are left alone to do the work of preparing the groundwork for impeachment.....
Remember when we could trust the TV news to actually deliver news?
I don’t care who “wins” these “debates”; it’s not supposed to be that sort of competition.
I have this theory that the Mets are cursed. It was back in the 60s when a Braves fan (or group of fans) got angry over how the Mets stole Tom Seaver from them. So they laid down a massive curse on the entire organization:
Hey, here’s an idea....
Then he was stabbed (it was serious; not a minor “put a bandage on it” attack, but one requiring a lengthy hospitalization), and while recovering, seems to have had a “Road to Damascus” moment. He still hasn’t owned up to his role in the Brawley fiasco, but he’s become more moderate and - dare I say - respectable in…
Yep. Somalia is that Libertarian Paradise (no central government at all) that he espouses....
I’d say it’s more likely the Dems will *overestimate* their level of support in the “swing states” / “Middle America”. Seems they are too busy trying to rally support on the Far Left to pay attention to the moderates.

Know your designated evacuation route and the location of your nearest emergency shelters. You know, all the Civil Defense stuff from the 50s and 60s when we were worried about getting nuked.... It applies to natural disasters (great and small) too.
Great list, especially #1 and #5!
“Submitted for your approval....”
“And you don’t tell me how to run a restaurant. Good day to you, and don’t bother coming back.”
First of all, it’s not a novel - it’s a recounting of true events from 1380's France. So those people complaining about how the woman, Marguerite de Carrouges, is being marginalized in the story can go shove it. Women *were* marginalized back then, and no rewriting of history to make it conform to modern standards is…
The tech support team discovered a potentially damaging glitch in his software, and the patch couldn’t be installed remotely?
