Can we please drop the whole “Eurovision is a festival of camp” thing? Yes, there’s a good amount of cheese involved. Those three states - Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin - aren’t exactly bastions of liberalism. If you just consider rallying turnout in the base, you’re more likely to get more votes in places like New York and California - where you don’t really need them.
