I caved and bought the game. It’s really fun. It’s a shame that they’ve blundered into avoidable stuff like this because the core experience is excellent. Haven’t really reached the endgame where this type of stuff becomes apparent yet.

Just port Skies of Arcadia over!
I’m team Remaster. Remaster the game, make it easily playable on modern consoles, and tweak some minor stuff. But remaking it from the ground up isn’t an optimal use of time.
So true Luke!!! I kinda posted the same defense of the barebones Chrono Cross port. They didn’t waste much time making it and they let a new generation of players play through. Onwards & upwards.
guys
Mmmmmmmmmmm okay honestly I’m kinda chill with low-effort ports if it means we get mostly unedited versions of classics on Switch. Pump ‘em out, I say.
Definitely feel some of the urgency others are feeling, but ultimately for me I don’t use these services too much, and spending $100-$200 now to buy a few years in advance is probably more than I’ll end up spending using it when I want to.
My spicy take of the day is that this arrangement honestly doesn’t do it for me. Wonder why this track in particular spoke to Grammy voters more than all the other great game re-arrangements over the years! The selection process for those awards always seems really random in the smaller categories.
Criticism like this always seems very harsh to me. Congrats to this modder for putting together a beautiful effect in Assetto Corso. But he also had eight years to do it on a game that was already built for him. The GT7 and Horizon folks have to make a whole darn game on top of just weather effects. Miss me with this…
Cheers, Zack
That fucking sucks. No successor announced even? Real bummer :(
Whoa, Elden Ring dropped? Didn’t realize, haven’t heard anybody mention it over the past month.
Bravo. What a quest. Choosing to believe this means there are canonically Beetle quadruplets roaming the map.
For the Metroid 4K article last year
Disappointing to hear this from Kotaku and some other sites I’ve checked out. I broke out my 3DS and played through Rune Factory IV last year and had a lot of fun. Maybe I’ll just dive back in and try to get that 3rd arc to activate...
I was really interested in this game, but between the microtransactions (that were made worse after the review period!) and always-online garbage, I think I will skip for now.
Whoa, Rune Factory 5 this week? Don’t sleep on that. Good games.
Not a problem for many people, but it really is quite unfortunate.
Aw I’m sad to see the Miis gone. Won’t stop me from enjoying the new courses, though.
