Can’t get excited for this until I see it live action, until I knowwwww it doesn’t have that dogshit Netflix look where everything is weirdly filtered and dark.

Half the review is celebrating what this game is, everything up to the review graphic. Really disingenuous reading here.

Mike Ashley spending 134M on Mbappe is easily the funniest thing in this article. Not gonna happen!

Awkward Zombie’s explainer if you check their site is hilarious. As always, great stuff.

A lot of these look really cool. It must be really scary as an indie dev to see how much competition’s out there nowadays. I’d love to play almost all of these, but only have so many hours. Good luck to all these devs.

I think, hazily recalling my electrical eng class in college, that the way Pokemon expresses electrical capacity makes no sense. Cannot remember why.

Well I have a three-year old certification, how hard could it be

Finishing HITMAN 2! Just gotta do the last level to roll credits, and then mess around I guess. Also close to beating Rune Factory IV. I think the combat in this game is bad, but it’s also breezy enough not to matter.

Tons of these are excellent. Think the dreary-eyed Murkrows are my favorite.

It’s farming stuff all the way down nowadays. Here I am getting sucked back into Rune Factory IV.

Both those things deliver artistic or entertainment value to me. They also do not explicitly gain their value from using up increasing amounts of electricity, as crypto does. I think the fundamental difference is that a game or movie is an artistic creation. An NFT is a purely speculative item that is an art parasite

Ethereum’s been making noise about switching to proof of stake for years now and burning energy in the meantime. And even given greater efficiency, NFTs are fundamentally wasteful in current form. NFT markets collapse because they’re not a thing that has any value. We’ll see if somebody can use them in an interesting

HA. Fuck you, NFT people. Eat shit.

We bought one for Breath of the Wild! Then I got a Switch on release night, haha. It was worth it for smash, though. And I played through Pikmin 3 with it just last year. It’s a good machine.

(sigh) yeah

Would love to see BOTW2 and whatever Monolith Soft is doing. Exciting!

Monolift Soft has been rumored to be working on some new stuff, and their last new / non-remake game came out in 2017. That is really what I’m hoping to see.
