Xenogears xenogears xenogears. Maybe sprinkle in a little Hitman 2

You’re a weirdo

Yes I do believe a mined unit just sits in a wallet and doesn’t further eat energy unless transacted. That said, each mined unit means the next one needs more energy to be mined. (As you probably know.)

Wow, big disagree! I love hubs. That said, I don’t play games as a service type games, maybe they suck in those? I imagine myself really liking have a repeated place to come hang.

Nobody has actually moved off Proof of Work yet. Who knows if they actually will. And creating artificial scarcity where none need exist is immoral anyways.

Cryptoart is traded on ethereum. From here: https://memoakten.medium.com/the-unreasonable-ecological-cost-of-cryptoart-2221d3eb2053

I’m not!

Luke, good piece. I’m glad the word is getting out on how bullshit this is. That said, I wish you came down even harder on the environmental impact. These pieces, especially when sold/bought on ethereum, are unfathomably wasteful of energy. Literally pressing that buy button on a piece of cryptoart could double or

Some of my favorite pixel art ever

Finally, he will no longer be dogged by claims that he’s not a Real Gamer

Usually I mess around with the y-axis, but amusingly I have no idea if it’s actually inverted or normal that I prefer. I think it changes per-game, usually I just mess around until the camera feels “right.”

I think there’s still a good wishcash fishing episode. I hazily recall it from childhood (back when I’d check newspaper TV guides to see when the show was on). Could be misremembering, though.

Yeah, I’ve been trying to find out about Flow since this took off, since I know Ethereum is so bad. I think this stuff could be kind of cool if we can make sure we’re doing it in a non-toxic way. I’ve it might be up to me to write about the environmental impact of this specific blockchain; there’s very little about it

I’m not sure, if they’re using blockchain currency to make transactions (it’s on Flow), then mining is still indirectly there. Either way there are still transactions that need to be verified and it’s still verifying that each card is unique.

Gonna get to disc 2 of Xenogears hopefully and maybe try out Pyra/Mythra in Smash.

Love reading everybody’s memories. Still got mine hooked up, have played Burnout 3 and FFVII in just the past few months. He’s a trooper.

Change user is cool because I can play digital games my brother bought by using his account. Keep that.

PS5 OUTDATED. NEW NINTENDO SWITCH ACTIVATED. LET’S FUCKING GO.

This is also HORRIBLE for the environment. With CryptoArt on Ethereum a single transaction can use the energy equivalent to a person living in Europe for a year. This runs on a different blockchain, but I would guess it is also quite wasteful. Great way to ruin any efforts you’ve made to be sustainable this year.
