Others include a new weight system that places restrictions on how much heavy armor certain classes can equip.
This hit me like a fucking truck, damn. Never had a summer vacation experience like that, would love to check this one out.
I also found Mario Animal Crossing hard to wrap my head around when watching the trailer. I’m sure the items will be fine, but things were so dressed up in the trailer that it confused my brain.
Gonna have to get real creative with this one, artists
The people demand new squid girls
I love Splatoon, but there was little shown in this trailer that convinced me they needed to do another full sequel. Seems a poor choice for an announcement trailer. Still excited, though.
Crazy that they had a Splatoon trailer on deck when they announced this earlier. Oh well!
This is an anime fighting game now, boys
This is actually what I’m most excited for from the direct. Looks really cool! If we can’t get Final Fantasy Tactics this will do.
Slaps is good. I got on iTunes pretty young and nobody told me I was supposed to dislike Staind yet. (This was also, like 2010 and I think hating that era of music was only just coming into fashion.)
Staind slaps, don’t do this, Ian.
lol this Tamte cunt literally got paid by the CIA to make training simulations for the CIA and FBI. I’m sure this won’t have any politics, guys.
$2000
Yo how much money is on a $2000 check tho?
Two things can be bad!
There have always been politics in my Kotaku
How much money is on a $2000 check?
Lot of people chomping the hook on the $600+$1400 = $2000, but I know what you meant. It wasn’t “2000" total in checks, it was “we’re sending you $2000 checks.” Super frustrating that this got retconned, makes me feel kinda nuts when there were ads of $2000 checks. Like, check this tweet from Ossof in December:
Well, I guess my personal definition of “games as a service:” is a bit more restrictive (and not necessarily correct) in that I think of explicitly games that make you stay online or engage in multiplayer (Destiny, Anthem). But I think you’re right - it’s probably more of a criticism of the genre than the service…
