Nadja complaining about her portrayal during the play was marvelous.

Okay I thought one of the vampire assassins looked like Jim Rash in a ridiculous bald cap too. But he’s got an oscar! Maybe we just miss him? Corporate was hilarious.

My only major complaint is HAVING TO WAIT FOR A NEW SEASON.

If there were a drinking game to come out of this show, I would drink every time Nandor says “Colon Roe-been-son.” Cracks me up every time.

Have to say it one more time for posterity:

There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that the Pythons knew their Gilbert & Sullivan backwards and forwards, and that the troupe wouldn’t have existed as such without Sir William.

Well, I ate at Volt and had some bacon brioche that still haunts me to this day with its deliciousness, so I’m VERY interested in his food.

I’m guessing he picked LeAnne first because she’s shown some facility with dessert? Which she did end up nailing. So all in all, he put together a great team.

I’d say they pretty consistently love Bryan’s food, actually, but usually find some reason to ding it for not quite fitting the challenge. I’m not sure whether this is a Paul Qui in season nine situation, where they go out of their way to make sure it doesn’t look like any one chef has an advantage, or (probably more

I miss our lovable Gastrognome.

Gregory’s entrees were also served family style.

I’m surprised they didn’t call him out when he said “I couldn’t get the same brand of curry powder” at judges table. The dish is so near and dear to him, you would think he would have his own spice mix formula for it by now.

In retrospect, with Gregory deciding to rule over dish choices with an iron fist - they were going to make his menu and his menu alone (unlike Kevin, who mistakenly let Voltaggio put his own spin on shrimp & grits that didn’t fit), Gregory’s choices make more sense - Malarkey won’t mess up that by being FOH and

Malarky annoys the ever living shit out of me, but I have to hand it to him, he handled the front of the house work with aplomb...and props to Gregory for seeing that and snatching Malarky up for that specific purpose. I was pretty floored when he did it.

Melissa is just the type of acquaintance who you would love to bump into out and about and you’d know she’d brighten up your day. I also just want to try her cooking the most out of everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised. Sitcom wacky-situation births are one of my least favorite tropes, particularly the “woman in labor hilariously screams a lot!” bit. Yet somehow Amy’s screams were hilarious!

I’m a big track and field fan. Raised in a family of runners, and I’ve been to a half dozen or so world class track events, including three Olympic trials (as a spectator).

Petty Holt and Balloon Arch Holt in the same episode! You can’t beat that.

God, the man DOES love a balloon arch.

I love that she’s made up with her mother and they’re going to drag brunch.
