I am sorry but as a Washingtonian & someone who has some understanding of product development & manufacturing this seems absolutely dumb as hell. IMO there needs to be 1 single timeline for EV adoption (2035 seems good enough) because how can we expect manufacturers to forecast EV demand if all of a sudden govt deems

EPA range is not a good indicator of the real world and in all likelihood this rating will cease to exist or have a major overhaul as more people enter the EV market.

Can you guys keep this updated? I think it would be a valuable resource as I had to make my own list when I was shopping a few months ago.

I think all the car dorks should start preparing themselves for a world that is primarily EV’s. Crossing your fingers that some miracle fuel is coming along to save the internal combustion engine is nothing but wishful thinking at this point.

Except Tesla isn’t selling their stock (which would cause it to go down). People are trading the shares that are already out there.

This is maybe the 3rd time on this website I’ve read the sentiment that the “Stock market is gambling!” and each time it’s just as fucking stupid as before.

You do realize that every metric other than SHOCKING CELL PHONE VIDEO UPLOADED TO TWITTER! disagrees with your thesis correct? Air travel is multiples of scale larger than it was 40 years ago and major incidents are so infrequent that any event is absolutely shocking to the public precisely because we all take air

1st gear:

250 miles is probably the right number to be honest. The problem is you have to account for factors in EV’s that you don’t with ICE vehicles such as temperature and battery longevity.

Independent testing has shown real world results aren’t that different between Tesla and competitors with similar kwh battery.

Tesla is actually in trouble here.

Launch control on the Taycan is activated by holding the brake with your left foot and applying throttle with the right. My guess is the guy was holding the brakes on to keep it rolling backwards and inadvertently activated launch control when he tried to apply throttle. Once he lifted his foot off the brake the car

Couple points I want to make here:

Not to invalidate Lewis’ achievements but fact is there are more races in each season to snag poles & wins than there were back in the day.

I have a two.

Better than anything else I’ve ever owned? We did pop for the heated and ventilated seats which are amazing.

Absolutely nothing unless you’re a dumbass blogger. Our Q7 does everything we need it to better than almost everything else on the market. It’s big, comfortable, works in all weather conditions, and is safe. Is it exciting? no but when you have kids and have to move them and their stuff the Q7 is one of the best tools

Chances are he has radial nerve damage and may never come back to full fitness.

The F10 M5 being great? It was the absolute epitome of bulbous, overweight, overpowered luxobarges with huge power and not much else. The F90 M5 pulled that back with lighterweight and AWD which actually makes sense for the what the M5 has become.

Ah yeah the manual gearbox enthusiasts ie craft beer dorks of the automotive world. Ya’ll spend more time discussing obscure aspects of your cars rather than actually DRIVING them; just like craft beer dorks.
