This is the only legitamate answer here. Putting a v8 in your old nissan, or a turbo in your civic does not a hellcat killer make.

That’ll shred tires at highway speeds.
Great looking car, nice write up. I loved the pictures at the end with your old FJ.
The premium surely wasn’t above the original MSRP, therefore he still got a deal. If they continued to make that exact car till today, what would the price be? More than he paid(rarity), or less(old tech).
How bad was it? My BRZ insurance is ~500/6mo in Chicago.
It pains me to say this, but they need an SUV in that price range to go mainstream.
with 180k miles, and there are 3 days left on the auction.
I’m 6’4 and I can fit in one but not enough to daily it.
I didnt know they had access to jalopnik in prison.
The biker is still a dick for smashing mirrors, then putting it up on youtube, but the old guy said he had his turning signal on, and I didn’t see anything blinking in that video.
When the McLaren hit the straight, my stomach dropped as if I was on a rollercoaster.
The taxes in Chicago (registration/plates) mean you add at least 500 to that price. It has killed the winter beater in my opinion.
These things are FWD. Turbo Busa FWD Elio just sounds like a burnout/understeer machine.
Its not about kicking the tail out, these are luxury cars. Its about not spinning your front tires, not getting understeer, the way the a RWD car feels pulling on the highway from 55-90mph. A RWD car feels better. People just hear fwd is better in snow, but they dont understand that its the RWD that makes the S-class…
Its cause its a FWD car. They knocked it out of the park with the old panther, and then they put the motor in sideways on the next gen cars. You cant do an economy build on what is supposed to be a luxury car. BMW, Merc, Lexus, all do RWD first, with the motor oriented correctly.
its already over 14k with 3 days left, what do these things actually go for normally?
Did 70’s muscle cars suddenly get cheap? 10k does not sound like much for this thing. Is it the mileage?
