Everyone knows that the littlest guys are often the angriest, and while most Fiat 500s are cheerful and fun, this one is all business.

...wasn’t fully up to the task of competing with Allanté’s primary target, the Mercedes SL.

Such as RV’s. I’m a local gov bureaucrat and I could get fired for WAY more minor stuff. Good to be a king I guess.

What’s your definition of federal official? I’d guess 99% of civil servants aren’t receiving any kind of bribe. In fact, I’m pretty sure, they have all kinds of reporting to make sure they aren’t taking bribes.  Yeah, elected officials are probably a different story.

2nd, it’s not often I run in to new words anymore.  Even less often I see one where, if it were out of context, I couldn’t parse it’s meaning from whatever the base language it came from.

First time I have ever seen the word “mammothrept”.  You win today’s comments automatically... or slushboxally.

It figures this Porsche is in the O.C. with more Trust Fund Felons per capita than anywhere. Home of the sort of mammothrept that would turn its nose up at a 911, water-cooled slushbox or not. I wonder what they bought it instead. Seems like a nice price to me.

Well even so, put some sort of acceleration limiter or something on these things. They are so fast and so damn heavy.  The potential to cause a ton of damage is huge.

aka, the LG and Samsung appliance approach.
Friends who had a 2yr old Samsung dishwasher at the time.
The drain pump died, but the repair company said Samsung changed the pump design already, and there were no replacements.
He was, however, able to jerry rig the wire harness of a Frigidaire pump into it that matched

Part of it has to do with Tesla’s process. Traditional car makers finalize the build and lots of parts are made for these cars and they are kept in production for years. So finding the parts isn’t a huge issue. Tesla on the other hand uses an iterative approach, where they keep improving the cars or lowering

Fiat 124 Spider might fit into that $15k sweet spot. I know, it plays second fiddle to the Miata but sometimes different is good, right?

Alright, the Fiesta is the correct recommendation, but we need to have an honest to goodness talk about what Andy found. Early 2010's FCA products make it to 140k miles? And are changing hands for 5 figures?

How is the BRZ/FR-S/86 not the top recommendation? Yeah, you’d have to get a 2.0 version, which are fucking slow, buuuut, OP is more about handling than speed, so they shouldn’t care. Fuel economy is surprisingly good too.

Between the stupid racing seats, hacked up interior and gauges, and questionable looking work under the hood, it’s a big no dice. I love the concept, but it’s poorly executed.

No matter what you think of the truck or anyone who buys them, yelling profanities at him, giving the guy the finger and spitting on/scratching his property makes you as bad if not worse of a person.

I don’t know if that’s the same guy or not. I want to say that was somebody who had one in the Hamptons or something.

I fail to see a problem with the cars logic.

I know DC real estate really well (I am an investor and asset manager) and this is spot on. If you want to live in a nice neighborhood that is centrally located and/or close to amenities (metro station, shopping, restaurants/bars), half a million or so will only buy you a small 1 or 2 BR condo. If you want to find

There’s probably 1% of us who have stuck it out here since the Ray Wert days....you know, when this site was about cars and good journalism.
