Running and driving Lotus is better than project Lotus. They are pretty simple cars, however you have to keep up on everything and putting any maintenance off immediately leads to bad things. Want to go fast. Swap in a Hayabusa motor

Honestly torn. It’s definitely not a $12k car. That’s just the price of purchase. Sourcing parts for this as it breaks might not be fun, but might not be as bad as some limited run cars of the 70’s. It’s kind of shocking to see all the things in the pictures that was clearly Lotus just trying to get a car out.

Uniqueness per dollar is off the charts- you’ll never meet another one. Seems well cared for and honestly represented. NP

Imagine not enjoying the last years of your time on earth as a carefree millionaire because you “know what you have”. Sell the stupid car, idiot.

Imma call BS on the ‘83 price of 500.oo, i was a teen back then and know all too well what 500 got ya,.....something with 1 foot in the scrap yard....this whole story smells off

The platforms would be well within their rights to remove these videos. It’s considered reasonable moderation under Section 230. Ironically, in this situation, forcing the platforms to leave the content up would be a first amendment violation covered under the Compelled Speech Doctrine.

Okay, but how many innocent drivers have been identified and targeted by this system?

the only thing missing is the dealer markup then it would be perfect

it is equally obvious that we will eventually have safe, reliable self driving cars.

The best known computers in the universe can’t drive.  What makes you think we’ll get a machine to be able to.

Even the companies who are trying to do it properly (like Waymo) can’t get self-driving right. It’s gonna take a lot more computing power, and better sensors than engineers have been able to put on a car thus far.

The original Little Mermaid basically saved Disney as a studio. There was serious consideration before it given their flops of the 1970s and 1980s to actually shut down the studio and just focus on the theme parks. It kicked off what was called the “Disney Renaissance”. It is really weird to consider that in the late

The multi-gender and multi-racial miners don’t bother me, nor does the Latina actress playing the lead, but the name of the movie and the lead character maybe should be changed? I mean the character’s name is her name because her skin color is supposed to be snow white, it is literally part of the story. So is the

how does this sink their whole brand, exactly?

I mean, what better way to say, “I do” and proclaim your undying love for another car enthusiast than with a wedding band that says “VTEC” on it?

I suspect the people commenting on the article didn’t read it. The article front ends discussions of the following: 1) What makes people heavily invested in fringe sports, even when they are non celebrity players? 2) What part of competitive eating is tied into ideas of America? 3) How does sexism and xenophobia play

I heard the 5th-gen Integra wedding bands are an extra $100 for absolutely no discernible reason.

It’s like his parents couldn’t decide if they wanted him to be a douchbag named Tyler or Kyle, so they made him a superdouche named Kyler.

Yikes. A rich douche-bro. What are the chances the car ISN’T beat like a rented mule? The affluenza wafts off him like a soupy miasma.
