Firstly, jailbreaking doesn’t void the warranty, although Apple will likely restore it to a known (non-jail broken) state if you have to get it serviced. To be clear, Apple can say it voids the warranty, but fortunately that’s not how warranty law works.

I was a big fan of Android and even helped write some stuff into AOSP at one point but honestly I eventually gave up on it and switched to iOS, and one of the reasons was that Android’s app and app permissions were so utterly broken and horrible in comparison that I just couldn’t take it anymore.

The couch to 5 k program is great. That is how I ran my first 5k but at 42 minutes many of my running coworkers shamed me for being so slow.

Good timing, I’m training for my first 10k and am feeling pretty defeated. I’m in decent shape, been strength training for about a decade, but have felt like a complete gym new comer since jumping on the treadmill a few weeks ago.
