The couch to 5 k program is great. That is how I ran my first 5k but at 42 minutes many of my running coworkers shamed me for being so slow.
It’s incredible for reducing attention fatigue on long drives. I’d have said the same thing until I experienced the admittedly rather rudimentary system in my brother’s 2012 XC70; it monitors your follow distance on the highway well enough to keep the 3 second rule and lets you focus on what’s going on around you…
Good timing, I’m training for my first 10k and am feeling pretty defeated. I’m in decent shape, been strength training for about a decade, but have felt like a complete gym new comer since jumping on the treadmill a few weeks ago.
Note that this is the second level 3 system in the world- a limited edition Honda Legend had level 3 last year but Japan market only. I’d be curious to know how that’s going- i haven’t heard anything about it recently.
Yea it’s a weird position to take considering they aren’t even rated in the top three level 2 systems, let alone anything close to level 3.
