This past weekend was 80th anniversary of The Senator Theater, a independently owned art deco movie house in beautiful, sunny Baltimore, Maryland.

In a sense, Tesla has answered this question in that they will be responsible.

    Nice summary. No disagreement here.

If some doucheknuckle says “IT’S TESLA’S FAULT” does that stall your investigation somehow?

More to the point when people say “XYZ Pizza is the best” what they are really saying is I like a specific style of pizza that this area was once known for but by no means is the only way to get a pizza that way in this area or mean that every place in this city has “The BEST PIZZA ever”

True. And we can shit all over the President in both cases.

The people at Pfizer are gonna take a hit because of drop in sales of blood pressure medicine.

I’ve said in the past that by conservative standards, if U.S. healthcare is the best in the world, then the Italian automobile industry is similarly the best in the world (of course, for those who can afford Ferraris and Lamborghinis).

So I guess what I’m saying is that I’m now in a car gang and have taken a blood oath with a hatchback.

Someone would have to accidentally deposit $120,000 in my bank account for me to buy one of these. Of course, I would do it then without hesitation.

No crumple zones, no airbags, no antilock brakes or traction control. Nothing.

    This headline is demonstrably false.

Excellent analogy. A lot of the proponents of autonomous vehicles focus on the technology, which is making steady progress. (I work in a robotics lab.) But it’s not purely a technological problem, at least given the current state of the world.
