Just what I discovered (two minutes ago). Thanks.
There’s a typo on p. 3.
Wow. One would think that’s poor business. Because it really is.
I would have it taken up to corporate and have his car ready for free clutch replacement in the future at dealership of his choice.
Also funny (to me as an American) is that Fritz is a nickname for Friedrich, and one of the most famous Friedrichs in history was Kaiser Friedrich (i.e., Friedrich, Emperor of Germany).
I feel like this is the modern version of the 1950s flying car, in that it will not happen, even though its only a few years away.
Just adolescents, at least in the cited research paper, “Bullshitters. Who Are They and What Do We Know about Their Lives?” (http://ftp.iza.org/dp12282.pdf). There have been relatively few empirical studies of the topic; the authors suggest this is the first to dig into subgroups on a large scale.
Not really. But on the other hand, Emily and the Washington Post shouldn’t point to this particular study as “confirming” that rich men should shut up.
LOL. Yes. This compliment describes the hero of most of the spy/adventure novels I read.
What an excellent article, one of the best I’ve read on this topic in a mainstream publication.
I have nothing to add except...
This is such an unbelievably easy software fix. It makes me irrationally angry.
Wow, I didn’t realize how sad McDonald’s sandwiches were until seeing them on real dinner plates.
I’m probably in the minority here, but based on personal experience, I think lifting the ban on women drivers was a horrible idea.
Excellent mnemonic!
No, not that one.
That’s actually tricky in one case: “just deserts,” which is pronounced as if you’re skipping the main meal—and of course a lot of people misspell it “desserts” because of the pronunciation.
Thanks for this. It’s now my favorite in the genre of cover songs in a moving vehicle :-).
The three pieces include “a desk, an armchair and a matching foot stool.”
