    Philosopher Life

I see exposing jumps in movies that have them as no different as watching horror movies that simply don’t rely on them.

    You’re a goddamn genius.

Wow, Andre Braugher can really do everything.

    Another excellent article.

You are not alone; that bugged me, too.

I’m not sure you understand the competitive nature of speedrunning. What point is there in competing for records if you’re not going to.... you know... compete for them?

I did notice the slice of bacon in the photo. Good move, Kevin.

You know, if you pass by, maybe suggest to them to invest in a really cheap phone system with a auto response.

    Thanks, kvetcha!

I love fried rice. (My grandmother was Chinese—it’s in my bones.) But I live in a little apartment with one of those electric glass cooktops and a sensitive smoke detector. CAN I MAKE GOOD FRIED RICE? I am beginning to despair.

Yesha’s write-up and Kevin Cash’s tweet are a little confusing. Shulte apparently attended Stanford (which means it’s her alma mater permanently, not former), got her degree, and went to work somewhere (Environmental Resources Management Limited?)

I think you’re right, from a buyer’s perspective. And as your comment suggests, it could involve some risk on Tesla’s part.

It may be misleading (because people assume) but it is not dishonest. The cars do in fact have the correct hardware, so Tesla is not lying being honest about that specific point.

Hammocking Slender would be happy to fix that non-identical-hands condition for you.

Just as there are actually people who use crack pipes. :-) Or so I’m told.

Excellent idea! My first thought was that even though I’m not into Corvettes, if this car dropped in my lap I’d be happy to debadge it and drive it around. Your plan is better.

There’s a balance to be struck. By your argument, Tesla doesn’t actually need to include warnings either, because people should be paying attention.

Yeah, and the scary thing is that an injector seat could very well be homemade... I don’t want to know more.

It’s a tricky issue. Because what’s the ideal outcome?
