How would losing the Bucks serve Milwaukee. No bucks means a permanent loss of NBA player tax revenue — set to skyrocket with new TV deal — that will far exceed $250 million. And this is being funded by a ticket surcharge, not a tax increase. As a Milwaukee resident, I'm glad they got it done.

Yes. I’m super bummed that less than $2 of my yearly earnings will go towards something I get a ton of enjoyment out of and a city I occasionally stay in will see a significant amount of downtown development.

As I Wisconsin resident, I am happy about this. I like the Bucks and want to keep them around. Furthermore I am a Marquette alum and glad they will have a nice new place to play. I know the economic argument is bunk. I don’t care. The very little my taxes are impacted by this are worth every penny.

In the video Lawrie says he can’t get into the box without thinking that the pitchers are going to miss high and in. I guess when he’s on first, shorstops can’t turn a double play without thinking Lawrie’s going to stick his spikes a foot up into the air.

My god! Is that true? Why haven't they shut down the program?!

Your right we haven't had a decent bowl win. Our best year of getting one we seen our Head Coach jump ship to another team between the end of the season and the bowl game. The other games Wisconsin just beat themselves.

Feel free to blast away at Packer fans, nothing we can do about them, but Bucky fans are nowhere near as bad as, oh, say, about 50 other colleges, and not even in the same galaxy as Cardinal fans. I don't know who you've been hanging around with from UW, but I think it sucks you have that impression.

I've seen a lot baseless, petty shit in the deadspin comments section, but this may take the cake.

How so? I feel like the hate against Cards' fans and Red Sox fans is pretty well-known, but I've never really heard this opinion before

As a Michigan fan living in Wisconsin they've been very kind and generous to me. You have it wrong unless you're a FIB.

You meant Ohio State fans correct?!

fuck off.

Are you kidding me?

your sister site thinks that is a chump policy you have:

On deadspin we all rag on Peter king for being to close to the NFL and its management. So I'm confused as to why questioning if whether a developer having relations with the people that cover her work isiwrong or not is so touchy. Please illuminate it for me.

We live in a society that loves to find that 1% of super shitty people within any movement and automatically go on about how the entire movement is just about what those 1% do. It's fucking stupid.

Get over yourself. Gamergate isn't going away, and no amount of temper tantrums will change that. The fake feminists thought they could start shit with gamers, and now they're finding out that gamers don't really like being called misogynists and other names just because they ignore and/or ridicule the imbecilic

I have a hard time figuring out exactly what GamerGate is or what the beliefs are, but there definitely seems to be evidence of improper relationships between game developers and reviewers, and collusion between reviewers. Kotaku is one of the sites that being criticized here.

I'm an adult and I'm not above playing the odd video game, but I'm not going to take them super seriously.

At least the new culture war is about videogames instead of something important.
