After the huge amount of support and money donated to Darren Wilson and all the other murderous cops i really do not feel hopeful , some white Americans do not care about us and i am finding it pretty annoying that the ones that are outraged are acting like this has not being on for years.

This has been an absolutely fucking awful couple weeks for people of color in this country. Just fucking brutal. But man, if there's anything hopeful I can pull from this it's these protests. Hopefully this is a bit of a turning point on this issue. I hope so, at least. I'm not sure I could really deal with there

Not that I'm a huge fan of violence against women, but doesn't GTA contain a whole lot of men being shot, beaten, and hit by cars? If one is A-Okay, why isn't the other?

First the UK bans BDSM and now this? Can we all stop playing the morality police please? Stop thinking you know what is best for everyone else. We are adults, we can make our own decisions

Feminazis: 1. Common sense: 0

The reason people are picking on the thing they're specifically complaining about is BECAUSE they are /specifically/ complaining about it. In light of all the other violence that goes on in the series it smacks of a glaring double-standard that this is the only thing they've got enough problems with to try to get this

But over at ABC.net.au they offer a different perspective on the story. They cite a Change.org petition from a trio of anonymous women — Nicole, Claire and Kat — calling for the retailer to ban the game from sale. The petition, with over 41,000 signatures so far, is labeled "Target: Withdraw Grand Theft Auto 5 – this

Wow, that's sexist. The petition I mean.

apparently violence toward men, including tortuing a man (which isn't optional) stamping on a guy's head (not optional) while telling said person how he's going to get raped is perfectly ok as opposed to picking up prostitutes and killing them (which is totally optional)

Ok I'm sorry but their are two forms of feminism. There is regular Feminism and then their are Feminazi 's. And we all know what side this is coming from.

Women are delicate flowers and its every man's solemn duty to protect them from anything that may hurt or offend them while also acknowledging that women are completely equal and in fact superior to men in many ways.

I think the part that bugs me is the fact that games and movies only seem to get in trouble for violence against women. I mean, I understand that they find killing prostitutes objectionable, but this is a game where you can kill everyone.

why is the violence towards women more important than the violence towards the men in this game. Feminists seriously suck, they unfairly chastize men and looove the attention of being a victim without having anything bad actually happen to them IE a fucking fictional video game with no real victims

You aren't wrong that we've had it our way for quite some time but your use of 'his. story' undermines your argument as that's simply not the etymological origin of the word.

I agree. I've had about half a dozen women or so specifically ask me for nude pics and I've told them all it is never going to happen. And this is PRECISELY the reason for my demurral. One woman was so insistent she threatened to take a photo of me in the shower, but backed down after I told her if she snapped the

They should have this on Gawker sites so SOME of the Jezesies on this site can stop replying to me when I ask them nicely to stop after posting my opinions.

Just another reason why those accused of rape should not have their names published. Eight percent may se like a small percentage of false accusations, but it's not small to the ones accused.

It happens at the same % as any other felony - 8% in the US, according to the the DOJ.

Persecuting women for lying about rape is in and of itself not a bad thing, which I think most people will agree on. But what just boggles the mind is that the mother fucking POLICE forces women to retract their claims by intimidating and then prosecuting them for it. I mean what kind of world are we living in here??

I'm curious as to whether anyone writing for, commenting on, or even just reading Jezebel actually believes that anyone makes false allegations of rape, ever. It doesn't seem that way, historically speaking (comments-wise): if you say it happened, then it happened, no matter what, and anyone questioning the validity
