I enjoy most live theater, but I saw “Cats” a dozen or more years ago —a high quality production, not some Community Theater nonsense— and I wanted to stuff ice picks in my ears and eyes. Good God, that was awful.

I’m less so concerened with D.J’s ambiguity and more so with this absolute inability to play anything other than the same wrestling persona he's had for over a decade. Seriously. He can't act. That was my thought too.  Even Terry Crews would be a better choice than The Rock. 

Seriously, even Disney of all companies got this right.  I love him, but the Rock isn’t right for this role.
