I'd been wondering about that myself. Makes sense why they'd stick around, I'd put up with quite a bit to get the money I was promised. Seems like Activision is only delaying the inevitable though, they'll have to make some major changes between now and when they pay IW if they're gonna try to keep them around. I'm

@poplin: Yeah, he's probably my favorite of the new characters but Canderous was probably my favorite Kotor character so I guess I'm bias.

@pinionblue001: You can play the game using the cerberus network without ever using any of the items it gives you. I understand why you want to have an unaided playthrough but it'd be pretty easy to do unless you just lack self-control. And if you get it now you don't have to worry about it ever going away.

@Tossy: Yeah, my thought was Warcraft 3 but that's cause I didn't play Diablo. And that is how it works, you just need to make sure they're close enough together or it won't chain.

@BadAxel97: There are a lot of things on there that make it worth skipping one game a year IMO

@Komrade Kayce: Yeah, but this is super effective against shields and has more ammo. The Cain is still best for big targets or a huge number of guys but this rips geth shields apart like tissue paper.

I'd love to see other publishers make this workable between PC and 360 and PC and PS3 even. What if you could buy a game online from the EA store (or whoever) for a little extra money and play it on whichever system you want? For instance, I bought DragonAge for the 360 because my PC's a POS. I realize it'll be better

@jayntampa: I doubt they really think they'll get the IP rights, it's just a way to get more money out of it and show how invested they were in the brand. If they come out of this with a bunch of money and a new studio I'm sure they'll be happy.

@AnEternalEnigma: To be fair, the lawsuit says West and Zampella didn't really want to do MW2, or at least not that quickly. It implies the only reason they did was to retain creative control of the MW brand.

@sdornan: Taking that even further, the lawsuit West and Zampella filed implies that Activision has been looking for evidence of IW talking to other publishers but the investigation proved they hadn't. It also said that lawyers demanded West and Zampella's personal phones and charged them with insubordination for not

@sSmokerGivesAGoodTongueing: I'd be completely ok with that as someone who bought the standard edition but I would like them to make the pre-order stuff avalible to everyone eventually.

@rpm285sm: looked it up, this is taken from the business week article the "project ten dollar" on kotaku cited as the source:

@Jennacide: I played paragon and I put him in his place during his loyalty mission. That was also one of the first missions I did, maybe even before I recuited Mordin. When Zaeed backed down and became a team player in that scene it changed the filter through which I heard his lines. He started sounding similar to

@Jennacide: Haven't gotten to Insanity yet, too many other things going on. But even if he's horribly balanced, I play these games as much for the individual character's stories and witty dialogue as I do for the leveling up and combat. I was sold on Zaeed when I heard the story about him using a knife to rip off the

@deanbmmv: Those not connected to Live are irrelevant as they wouldn't have access to Cerberus Network and the DLC. Unless you mean the people who are gonna wait for that to be hacked and pirate it that way but they are still irrelevant as they'd never have bought the game to begin with. On a computer a retarded

@Owosso: Of course they do but it's more difficult to maintain an Xbox Live account while pirating than just downloading a torrent for a PC. Certainly not impossible, I've got a friend who does it, but it's not nearly as big a problem on the consoles. Proportionally if not numerically.

@ludwigk: For some reason I'd been thinking "Project Ten Dollar" was just refering to dlc rather than the network feature itself. I'll have to look it up later because I'm anal and need to know everything. But yes, I'm pretty sure it was all releases in 2011

@Jennacide: lol. Yeah, I actually really liked the character, thought he was a lot of fun. I'm a little mixed on his powers/skills but the actual character I really enjoyed.

@7ruthslayer: That would be both awesome and ridiculous. I'm entirely too excited about the idea.
