The funny thing about that commercial is I agree with you mostly (proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone) that it's poking fun where it really has no right to poke fun. Apple has a long a storied tradition of creating mass hype for a product, adn they do it so well that people line up days/weeks before a launch

*** Sends email to Instagram/Facebook with a new filter called "Mars Curios?"***

"...the desired effects are complete, reversible and don't come with any side effects."

Why would they use an aspect ratio of 4:3 for the iPad mini when they are changing their aspect ratio for the new iPhone to 16:9? Wouldn't it make sense to move all of their new products to the new ratios so when developers design/update their apps, they only need to comply with one ratio?

No way... this is a total fake! I think they filmed the decent in the desert somewhere with red tinted cameras to simulate Mars. I don't understand why our government want's to try and pull the wool over our eyes all the time... "Hey look we're spending your money to do cool stuff!"

Here here! Well said.

You have a schedule on your phone which notifies you either to take the pill because it hasn't sensed that you've taken it yet and you're 15 minutes (or so) overdue.

It's not about the voltage... it's about the digital signature relayed to the patch. Each pill would have a different signature sent to the patch(then on to the phone). The voltage is specifically to power up the silicone chip to send the signature.

I honestly think the design of the "New iPhone" is spoken for, but the guts are not. What's to stop them from putting a OLED display in both the New iPhone & the iPad mini? Sounds like that tech alone would cost a pretty penny.

Not true.... I was in AF Basic Training with a girl names Dixie Bush (no joke).

Not sure what you're doing differently than me... but my Ford Edge receives all my track info when playing music through the BT connection. Using Verizon Galaxy Nexus stock Android 4.0.4.

While I agree with you on Google Glass & possibly the "sharing" portion of Nexus Q... I am a full 180 degrees from you about Google Events & Google Now.

I was wondering the same thing.... I tried entering the binary for Google in the search. but get nothing. Am I missing some sort of interaction with the doodle?

You can still do ALL of that with this... it's a tablet by just removing the cover or folding it back. Metro still has an on screen keyboard as well. So if you wanted it, it's there.

I may be a dreamer, but I do believe Microsoft will come out with a similar pricing structure to what I mentioned (maybe $100 more across the board). But even at $599/$699 for RT & $899/$999 for Pro, they will be eating their margins (not too much of a loss, maybe $40-$50 per surface) and pissing off their OEMs; which

The big deal about this for me isn't the fact that it's a tablet or a laptop. It's the fact that it bridges the gap between them.

FYI - Whomever the tech was that came out ot your house to "Discontinue your TV service" forgot to put a filter on the line. Which is why you're still getting Basic Cable for free.

And 60% of the time... it works every time.

Maybe even queue something to play next after the current show is finished?
