What's funny to me and doesn't make a whole lot of sense is the fact that ATT (just like every other cable TV and Internet Service Provider out there) charges their fee's prior to consumption. So in essence you would never be "late" unless you waited a full 30 days after your bill was due.

Yeah, it makes it that much harder for them, which in turn wastes that much more of the taxpayers money....
