I enjoy Veep, though not nearly as much as In the Thick of It or In the Loop.  I'm much more plugged in to US than UK politics, and find the lack of specificity distracting/infuriating.  But mainly I think this show really lacks the pathos of those works.

Long time lurker; I figured it was time to join the fight.  This show is great.  Weird, ridiculous behavior punctuated by moments of empathy.  I am male and non-white, but I still find the characters sympathetic in all their educated, hip, self-obsessiveness.  And there are some great gags.
