"'shippers" and any variation of this word is one of the most annoying Internet-babytalk words to come about in recent years.

Is the AV Club now a Breitbart bro?

I hope she learned from this. Patience is a virtue. There was basically no reason to reveal this stuff on the air without something more substantive to provide additional context. There was no reason to drop a fairly misleading tweet about it beforehand (no journalistic reason, anyway.) This was mishandled, and Trump

This new comment format fucking sucks. I'm not kidding… this is garbage.

I totally agree. It was oversold as a big story, when it was at best, just an interesting find. I think she should have maybe sat on it for a few days, see where it came from, see if there was any more info forthcoming, etc. She got over excited at he prospect of being first, I think.

The stuff she's been doing with Trump's connections to Russian oligarchs this past month has been on-point investigative journalism. Her coverage of Flint was fantastic. This tax return thing tonight was a bit underwhelming, to say the least, but it served the purpose of getting people to talk about the issue again.

She does this during her A block a lot. She provides a ton of context, a lot of it historical, that lends a lot of depth to the lead story.

I totally believe that the West Wing is going totally batshit right now.

We'll see. Potential Russian connections, potential financial connections to other nefarious types. Potentially…nothing.

FAKE NEWS!

I think it's time to kill the internet. I feel like everyone was much more decent before it dominated our entire way of life.

John C. Reilly, tho…

This format suuuuuuuuuucks.

I mean, okay. Maybe a random AV Club commenter has direct knowledge of this issue. It's possible, I suppose. What's more likely, I think, is that she, like many younger internet-people these days, has leapt to a conclusion based on very little information and has decided to publicly comment on that conclusion,

Allegedly.

If you're going to say stuff in a public forum, and then someone politely and respectfully disagrees and presents reasons for their doing so, this kind of response isn't going to do your argument any favors. I sincerely hope no one ever falsely accuses you of ill behavior of any kind. It's a lousy experience,

Zimmerman went to court where evidence was presented. Evidence that we all saw, and drew our own conclusions from. In Affleck's case, the settlement happened behind closed doors. We didn't get to see any evidence, and so any conclusions drawn by anyone not involved would be based on heresay and their own emotional

Accusing someone of a crime does not make them guilty of a crime. It's kind of shitty to assume someone's guilt having not been anywhere near any of the alleged incidents yourself, or knowing any of the parties involved, etc. I don't know what happened, and neither do you.

There's a pretty big difference between sexual assault and sexual harassment.

Even in the comics, the X-Men always seemed kind of doomed to me. All of their various parallel futures are incredibly bleak, they've been hunted, feared, and marginalized from the get-go, etc. Having the "end" of their cinematic story exist on the darker side of things was always pretty inevitable. There's always
