It’s not really a stoner comedy though. Sure drug smuggling is a plot point, and the lads like to get wasted and fuck around, but I always felt it leaned more into “hang out comedy” than anything else.

THE AV CLUB

It’s funny this has to even become a policy in the first place. Like for non-entertainment jobs, no one would ever set up an interview at someone’s home or hotel room. Imagine interviewing to be a Starbuck’s barista at the store manager’s apartment....

I think I’ve just started to realize that all her caricatures are getting too over the top, in stark comparison to Cecily who’s just gold in every sketch she’s in.

See, I think the manipulation is, or has become, focused on Elizabeth, as well as Paige. Claudia must realize that she is pressuring Elizabeth to perform a number of risky missions, with little or no appropriate preparation.

Indiana Jones, don’t forget, is Dr. Jones, a university professor. Her posh side would work well for the contrast between classroom and field.

I agree about the list being too young, though it did get me thinking: I looked it up, and Harrison Ford was 39 when Raiders came out. I’m as progressive and inclusive as can be, but how does appropriating a male iconic figure not just cheapen the female cause?

While i don’t think she is the best choice, she is also 28 and very much in the age range of being able to have a PhD and by that age could have had it for a few years.

That was just “locker room talk.”

Hayley Atwell would be fantastic!

I mean, except the times where I’d blow a man’s brains out after handing him a cheeseburger...”

At this point, Elizabeth is just a serial killer with a Communist problem.

I’m so glad you made the transition to Kinja, RDMC.

Sometimes when I hear the “parental discretion advised” warning at the return from commercial, I evaluate whether anything sufficiently explicit has yet happened in the episode.

“The AV Club hates God and loves videogames.”

That’s all well and good, but what do the Avenge Sevenfold fans have to say?

I can’t believe no one mentioned Hormel® Black Label® bacon or Duracell batteries.
