I have always thought it was a little odd that people in certain states have been treating weed as 100% legal when it’s still a federal offense. A lot of premature celebrations.

DOJ could crack down on one bank and it would have a huge effect on recreational weed stores. Federal law enforcement is pretty much only limited by the number of agents it employs.
You’d think that the man responsible for Fudge Stripes would be totally down with the stoners...

Comment threads on Breitbart are epic right now. There are three main camps:
So I finally have started watching The Good Place. Binged Season 1 and yeah that is great. Ted Danson is great, and Kristen Bell is really seriously funny. (And I too may have a thing for Tahani.) Also, JANET.
All things Stranger Things. I binge-watched seasons 1 and 2 this week in quick succession, and have followed that up with watching all the talk show appearances by the cast on YouTube, plus skimming through Beyond Stranger Things on Netflix.
So I’ve spent a lot of time thinking that President Pence would be just as bad, because at least Trump is incompetent, but I think I would still prefer it. I think one of the bigger dangers of Trump is the institutional damage he does. So at least Pence won’t wonder why he can’t have the DOJ investigate his enemies,…
Chad Lowe’s character has totally converted me to his Supergirl-worshipping religion.
Overgirl is still with us! As a bunch of scattered molecules in the frozen vastness of space.
I really did enjoy watching Kara lose that badly. She thought she was going to teach class, but instead, t’was she who was schooled!
Imra telling Kara that her example gave her life meaning & what an inexpressible honor it was to meet her was such a sincerely played scene that it really made the whole deal work I thought
I like the whole Reign=primordial pre-Rao Kryptonian Lilith thing. It adds a mythic dimension to everything. Not just your usual superheroine stuff. They are dealing with it so much better than the movies did. I’m almost waiting for Wally & Buzz to show up.
The other reviewers were somewhat justified, though. They replaced the title cards, which was neat, but these were still produced as episodes of each respective series. That’s how they were displayed on my TV guide, and that’s what my PVR grabbed them as, and that’s how more casual viewers would have found them. It’s…
Damn their aesthetically pleasing totalitarianism!
I can’t really decide between her and Benoist. Supergirl’s first season was shaky but Kara’s unflappable cuteness just bowled me over.
Eternal Sunshine I GUESS could have some leeway with the argument that its central science is just a plot device (though it’s absolutely central to the movie), but how in hell is Her not sci-fi? It’s set in the future, extrapolated from our present. One of the main characters is entirely AI. It’s largely about…
I like Ex Machina a lot but props for not being the 1,000th person going WHERE IS EX MACHINA YOU FOOLS.
I can’t find the video on YouTube, but I love this quote, too:
Heres an unpopular opinion: I didnt miss Gina. I didnt even notice she was gone until she was mentioned in this review.
