Will.i.am isn't a first class passenger. He's not even a first-class douchebag.

generally agree, but the neck and face tattoo ban was a solid idea.

He was too thousand and late.

With any luck, the next time he misses an international flight it'll be on a return leg and we as a nation can live Will-Free for at least a few more hours.

He clearly didn't check in on-line, otherwise United would never have known he wasn't there an hour out. He's an idiot, an entitled idiot.

Showing up with under an hour to go is usually not a problem. I suspect he didn't CHECK IN till 45 min pre-flight. International flights board at 45 min pre-flight. Statistics indicate that passengers who have not checked in by boarding time are likely to be no-shows, so the seat is then released for sale or upgrade.

I fly roughly 300k miles a year almost all of it international. I check in online and arrive 45 mins to an hour early at the airport. If you're a frequent flier with TSA preclearance, there is little need to be there an hour early, much less 2. But the caveat is know your airport. You have to know which ones will

He paid for a seat contingent on him arriving on time then didn't. This isn't an overbooking issue.

Arriving late due to a delayed flight and showing up late to the airport are two different things. I've waited on flights for economy class travelers to get in on delayed connections before.

Gee...I wonder who United would rather deal with on a 12+ hour flight. A wealthy, polite business traveler or a high-maintenance douchebag diva who dresses like a reject from an old Michael Jackson video?

Ironic that his face tattoo reads "struggle". Cause that is exactly what his prison bunkmates will be asking him to do as they hold him down.

If you have a tattoo above your shoulders, you can't come to the game.

Well, not for "some reason." The reason is that they keep getting hit by cars, with fatalities shooting up 15% over the past few years. To combat that statistic, Mayor Bill, son of Blasio, has launched his "Vision Zero" campaign in the hopes of eliminating pedestrian deaths altogether.

America's largest and therefore Best city (which definitely has nothing to do with me living there) has a serious problem with its pedestrians. Mainly, they keep dying for some reason.

Are the pedestrian deaths the fault of the drivers or the fault of the pedestrians (i.e. jaywalking, crossing when it says don't cross, etc.)?

I see statistics all over the place showing that pedestrian deaths have increased in the last few years. What are the chances that these not only coincide with driver distractions (phones, GPS, etc.) but also with pedestrian distractions such as staring at your phone while crossing the street? Fault lies both ways, of

Now are they referring to "New York City" as Manhattan or as the actual New York City which is 4 boroughs and whatever the hell Staten Island is. If it includes the boroughs then this is ridiculous because there are tons of streets where even 30 mph is being borderline too cautious. While I agree there are a lot of

How many millions of pedestrians navigate NYC every day? How many deaths again? Are they evenly distributed over the geographic area? If not, fix the offending areas by redesigning intersections/lights/crossings/speed limits. If the deaths are evenly distributed, do nothing. Seems like a lot of discussion going on

Nice try JDM fans

If you're a frequent work flyer don't you have TSA Pre Check? I travel almost every weekend for work and it's made such a difference in getting through security without wanting to go postal on the yahoos in front of me who don't know they have to take their shoes of, or couldn't carry a 22 oz bottle of shampoo in
