Surprised Deltarune isn’t listed here (unless you published the piece in that week-ish period that it was temporarily taken out of the e-shop). It’s almost criminal that Toby Fox released that for free.

It doesn’t take a lot of care to write something on the internet, you know. I happen to be using an extremely miniscule amount of care to write what I’m writing right now.

There’s a lot of complicated contract stuff that usually leads to actors getting notable billing on posters/credits that I’m sure the designer was following by the book, but I think it’s nice they just went and added her name anyway, even if it was technically just a corporate move to appease twitter. She definitely

<3 <3 <3 <3 this looks legendary.

Nah, pretty sure there was an early comment from the director or some other chum involved in making this thing that said that he like starts out blue and then goes to Will’s natural skin most of the time, kind of back and forth, which this trailer seems to corroborate.

I appreciate that big picture mode exists but damn is it the clumsiest and the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. Hopefully when the rumored UI upgrade that steam is apparently getting comes along they’ll redo big picture with it.

nobody told you to click on an article you had no interest in, let alone take the time to write a comment on it.

superbunnyhop has played Ocarina in VR via emulation and modding and said that, even with the limitations (like skyboxes and animation framerate occasionally being screwed up), it’s a really impressive experience that works wayyyy better than it should.

Perhaps because of the hordes of people that forget that it’s for children.

Not really sure why this was posted now, and not sure why I clicked on it since the avengers movies are my only experience with anything Whedon, but I really enjoyed reading it. Might have to try the Buffy show sometime.

Considering what Whedon says in this interview about how much he cringes  seeing his dialogue performed terribly by actors from his early hollywood years, I think he’d agree with you.

I pick Gibraltar because I suuuuuuck at this game and like having that right click shield, although I still die despite it due to the bigger hotbox and me sucking. And then I just go back to overwatch and csgo and tf2.

I’ve played a lot of it, and I’ve played a lot of other Battle royales too, and while apex incrementally improves on the others, there is more to go, and still a lot of assumptions about what a battle Royale “has” to be.

No I am not just asking for downtime to be removed, or for looting to be removed (though I would be curious how those would play), I’d also be interested if the actual settings these games took place in were compelling to explore, or mechanically challenging to traverse, or other ways of taking that “necessary” downtim

That’s good advice and it’s what I’ve donein the past with other BR games, but it still doesn’t change the fact that the dull moments are still dull.i really think it should be possible for a future BR to find ways to make the experiences between firefights more meaningful on a basic level.

In a non-direct way Spielberg is trying to sabotage any Oscars potential for the next Martin Scorsese movie, The Irishman, which is a Netflix film. Kind of surprising.

damn, different strokes for different blokes. The music in that trailer is craaaaazy lit, and if the game sounds like that (and is a good game too obviously) then I’m 100% buying a copy. I’m into this kinda jazz tho so I’m coming from experience listening to stuff crazier than this.

I mean, the point of immersive sims is that the player kind of defines the experience. Games like Deus Ex and Dishonored each are almost literally two entirely different games depending on whether you play stealthily without being seen, or as a murderous action hero. The point is that the game is ready to react to you

I am definitely more of a traditional shooter person (more overwatch than CoD, but that’s beside the point), which is why I’ve gone back to them after trying Apex for a week. And I already pointed out that I’m not the majority opinion by pointing out that millions of people are loving Apex and other BR games. I’m just

I’m not saying tighter is always better, I’m just literally saying that I’m used to (ergo “spoiled by”) playing games where there’s more happening moment-to-moment (ergo “tighter”), and have a hard time getting into games like these where there are so many slower moments. I don’t have a ton of time to game, so the
