I agree that Serena Joy and Fred (the commander) look young, but part of that is because in my head they look like Faye Dunaway and Robert Duvall, who were older when they made the movie.

Agreed— why is Serena Joy in this movie too young? I envisioned her as an older woman in her 50s or older and she’s resentful and jealous of Offred due to her age, child-bearing abilities and her duty to have sex with Serena’s husband.

This looks fantastic, but I wish they’d cast someone older for the Commander. I always pictured him looking like a Steve Bannon type.

It’s terrifying, but not any more terrifying than history or uncertain future.
